Online Therapy Canberra
What to expect
Whether we’re meeting in person or for online therapy in Canberra, our first session is a chance to ask questions, explore what you’d like to work on, and share what has or hasn’t been helpful if you’ve had counselling before. We’ll also cover practical details, such as confidentiality and the potential number of sessions.
My aim is to ensure you feel safe, respected, heard, and understood. You’re warmly encouraged to let me know how I can best support you in having a positive counselling experience.
Early on we clarify your therapeutic intentions, and we’ll regularly review your progress and adjust goals as needed. My approach is collaborative—ideally, we’re working together as a team. You can learn more about me here.

Healing relationships
Strategies for skilful and authentic communication for individual clients
So often relationships break down because you don’t know how to communicate feelings and what’s really important to you. Feeling misunderstood is difficult and painful. When you become more skilful at being present with those you love, you get to repair aspects of relationships that feel stuck. I can help you find a deeper understanding and connection using proven communication frameworks.
Please note I do not currently offer couples counselling.
Anxiety, depression and neurodiversity
Receiving a diagnosis—or simply recognising that your mental health is having an impact—can be challenging. Yet this awareness is often the first step toward positive change. From there, we can begin to identify your existing strengths and resources to help build your capacity for joyful living.
Beyond symptom reduction, meaningful and lasting improvements in mental health are best supported by a holistic approach to wellbeing. This may include strategies that consider your lifestyle, relationships, and work life.
Navigate life transitions: grief, loss and change.
Of course change is a part of life, but some changes cause distress, confusion and can amplify other mental health challenges. I support you in defining a personal sense of meaning and purpose that brings clarity.
As I companion you through your change process, I offer understanding and empathy in a way that reduces your pain and suffering. Grief is not a linear process and you don’t have to do it alone.
Rather than “moving on” from grief, you can move forward. In your own time. You might even laugh again.
